Wisan® Lein is a special product for feeding sows. The use of Wisan® Lein in compound feed improves the consistency of the stool, thereby preventing constipation before and after farrowing. Excessive retention of feces in the large intestine poisons the body with amides – products of protein decay (the cause of the disease process), leading to a complex of MMA diseases (metritis, mastitis and agalactia). The activated mucous substances contained in Wisan® Lein bind toxins and speed up the passage of food through the gastrointestinal tract. Thanks to the high concentration of energy, farrowing is easier and faster, and milk production in sows is accelerated. The high content of omega-3 fatty acids Wisan® Lein increases the immune status of sows and improves reproduction performance.

How is Wisan® Lein made?

The product is a mixture of processed raw materials with a high content of flax seeds. The raw materials are peeled flax seeds, wheat and barley. During hydrothermal processing, anti-nutritional substances are removed, which allows to increase digestibility and improve the palatability of the product. Raw materials undergo the strictest hygienic control and selection.

Feeding recommendations:

500-1000 g/day/head – 3 days before and 2 days after farrowing. Pregnant sows: 1 – 2% in compound feed. Lactating sows: 3 – 5% in feed.
